Trainees Add or Edit
You can access Atlas at https://atlas-mit-edu.ezproxyberklee.flo.org/
On this screen, you can add trainee affiliations for the selected PI/Supervisor or edit existing affiliations.
Trainee: The name of the trainee affiliated with the selected PI/Supervisor
Current Status: The current status of the trainee's affiliation to the PI/Supervisor.
| New | Initial status for researchers who have completed the Train Needs Assessment |
| Active | Researchers who are currently working under your PI |
| Inactive | A researcher who is not currently working under your PI |
| Incorrect | A researcher who incorrectly lists your PI as his/her PI |
Change Status: Click the appropriate radio button to change the trainee's status.
Five buttons in this section are:
Return: Return to the PI/Supervisor Affiliation Overview
Add Trainee: Add a new trainee affiliation. The status defaults to Active
Save: Saves current affiliations. Once a new trainee's status has been changed and asaved, it cannot be changed back to New. Incorrect affiliations are removed from the list when the changes are saved. Inactive affiliations remain on the list, but are hidden by default
Show Inactive: Show trainees who have an inactive affiliation to the PI/Supervisor.
Reassign: Reassigns the trainee to a different PI/Supervisor. Reassigning a trainee sets the status to Incorrect for the current PI/Supervisor, and sets the status as Active for the new PI/Supervisor. The reassign button is only displayed if the user has training reconciliation responsibilities for more than one PI/Supervisor.
